Brix is my first book by Brooke O'Brien but definitely not my last. It's a mix of tropes, such as rockstar romance, enemies-to-lovers and the taboo subject of stepsiblings. I wasn't sure how to feel about Brix in the beginning. But I really liked the parts of the plot, where we learn more about Brix and he changes, I grew to love him.

I say my first, because as soon as I finished this one, I pre-ordered the next in series. This book was well written, has a strong story and relatable characters. It is engaging and I read it in one sitting.
